Please ensure you follow instructions carefully (failure to do this will affect the accuracy of results) & complete the return paperwork with start/finish dates.

Open the monitor following steps 1 – 4 without touching the film:

1. Unclip the top & bottom tabs
2. Open out the monitor & fold it back on itself
3. To reveal the red film to the front
4. Clip both top & bottom tabs to secure in position

Place one monitor in the main living area & one in the main bedroom of the property. Install the monitors on a wall/picture frame/wardrobe/ unit approx 1 meter from the floor. Please ensure they are not near any direct heat (radiator/fires) or direct sunlight (near a window or window ledge).

Government protocol states that to obtain a valid report for your property the detectors are required to be placed in the above rooms, if you wish to test other areas (home office /study/ playroom/cellar) please purchase additional monitors, these results will be reported separately.

Following completion of the test close the monitor as above (step 1). Place in a sealed envelope with the return paperwork & return them to our office.
